Better Readers Make Better Writers

For her thesis, Ms. Daniel looked at writing by 775 high school students over a time three-years. She looked at 46 variables associated with the English/Language Arts curriculum at that high school. What she found is that reading ability is the strongest indicator of writing ability.

That's where I got the idea that better readers make better writers.
